Do you hear the motor running but the disposal’s blades aren’t budging? It may be jammed. Here are some easy steps to try and unjam on your own.
You can start by pressing the reset button located at the bottom of the unit under your kitchen sink.
If you hit the reset button and it still is not working properly you can take an Allen wrench and insert it in the Flywheel Turning hole. You would rotate it in any direction until it breaks the obstruction free. Once the blades break free you can hit the reset button again and it should start right back up.
