ourtesy Plumbing Inc. – 30-Day Residential Repair Warranty & Service Policy

RESPONSIBILITIES & REPRESENTATIONS OF THE CUSTOMER

By requesting service, the customer confirms that all existing plumbing, water supply, and waste disposal systems are in generally functional condition except for the specific issue being repaired. The customer agrees to hold Courtesy Plumbing Inc. (“Company”) harmless for the discovery of any hidden or pre-existing defective conditions, including but not limited to:

  • Leaking, deteriorated, or corroded pipes

  • Faulty or improperly installed plumbing

  • Mineral buildup, hard-water restrictions, or corrosion

  • Broken, rusted, damaged, or deteriorated plumbing fixtures

  • Structural issues or access limitations

  • Hidden or illegal plumbing conditions not visible during inspection

The customer is responsible for:

  • Providing safe access to the work area

  • Protecting personal property (carpets, furniture, flooring, landscaping, etc.)

  • Gaining permission if work access is required across neighboring properties

  • Ensuring all pets and children are kept away from the job site

  • Completing any additional work (at customer expense) needed to meet code requirements or allow the Company to complete the service

RESPONSIBILITIES OF COMPANY – CONDITIONS & LIMITATIONS

Courtesy Plumbing Inc. will perform all work in a professional and workmanlike manner. This responsibility does not extend beyond the limits of this Repair Warranty.

The Company is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing illegal plumbing

  • Damage caused by deteriorated or unsafe fixtures discovered during work

  • Failure of plumbing systems unrelated to the specific repair performed

  • Issues caused by customer-supplied materials

  • Hidden defects behind walls, underground, or in inaccessible areas

If a fixture, valve, or component breaks during normal work due to age, corrosion, or pre-existing weakness, the Company will notify the customer. Replacement will be billed separately.

LIMITED WARRANTY (30 DAYS)

Courtesy Plumbing Inc. warrants its repair workmanship and installed materials to be free from defects for 30 days from the date of service.

This warranty applies only to:

  • Residential services

  • General plumbing repairs

  • Parts and labor supplied by Courtesy Plumbing Inc.

Warranty is void if:

  • Payment is not made when due

  • Anyone other than Courtesy Plumbing Inc. alters or tampers with the repair

  • The failure is caused by misuse, neglect, or unrelated plumbing issues

If a covered defect occurs, the Company will correct the issue with reasonable promptness during normal business hours.

This warranty does NOT cover:

  • Drain cleaning or drain-related issues (per your instruction)

  • Failures caused by roots, settling, shifting, or external forces

  • Damage from water pressure issues, water quality, or customer-supplied parts

  • Normal wear and tear of plumbing fixtures

  • Hidden system defects not visible during the initial visit

Customer’s exclusive remedy is repair or replacement of defective work.
Company is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.

PROTECTION OF CUSTOMER PROPERTY

The customer is responsible for removing or protecting personal belongings. Courtesy Plumbing Inc. is not liable for damage to:

  • Carpets, flooring, drywall, or interior furnishings

  • Landscaping, shrubs, hardscape, or irrigation systems

  • Driveways, walkways, or exterior structures

Natural consequences of plumbing work (such as minor wall cuts, access holes, or ground disturbance) are the customer’s responsibility to restore unless otherwise contracted in writing.

PAYMENT TERMS & COLLECTIONS

The customer agrees to pay for all services upon completion unless other terms are arranged in advance.

If unpaid balances require legal action or collection efforts, the customer agrees to be responsible for reasonable collection costs, court costs, and attorney’s fees.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This document represents the entire Repair Warranty and Service Policy for Courtesy Plumbing Inc. No verbal promises or agreements are binding unless included in writing.
